7-Eleven, Inc., including Speedway® stores, is fueling miracles for kids and their families at Beaumont Children’s, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals member hospital, March 16-19, 2023.

CMNH member hospitals need support to help kids receive the best possible care. This weekend, you can stop into your local 7-Eleven and Speedway® stores and donate to fuel miracles and change kids’ health. Your donation will make a difference in the community by raising funds for Beaumont Children’s, to improve medical treatments, equipment and facilities and help provide child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays. These funds allow Beaumont Children’s to address the most challenging health issues today and prevent and prepare for those to come. 

Patients like Max benefit from fundraising that 7-Eleven and Speedway store do:

Max’s parents first noticed something wasn’t quite right with his behavior before he started preschool. They shared their concerns with his teachers but thought he would grow out of it.

After his issues worsened. Max’s family was referred to Beaumont’s Center for Exceptional Families- a pediatric center that specializes in behavioral disorders. Doctors first noticed signs of autism when interacting with Max over several evaluation sessions. Most importantly, they let Max’s parents know that what they were seeing was not just their imagination.

Max was officially diagnosed with high-functioning autism and sensory processing disorder in 2019 and a treatment plan was immediately put in place to fit his needs. He participates in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy and occupational therapy to help him with his challenges.

Max is now thriving and has made huge strides with his conversation and coping skills. His family is forever grateful for the Beaumont Center for Exceptional Families!

Speedway has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for more than 30 years and has raised almost $8.2 million for kids in Southeast Michigan since 1989.
