May is for Miracles at Costco
Costco’s annual fundraising campaign for Beaumont Children’s runs May 1-31.
During the month of May, you can help to change kids’ health at Beaumont Children’s during the annual Costco fundraising campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Shop online or in-warehouse at Costco, and donate to help kids like Connor.
Connor injured himself playing soccer and fractured his cervical spine. For two months, Connor wore a halo device to support his spine, neck and head. He had to lay completely flat in his hospital bed and wasn’t allowed to get up or move. Beaumont’s Child Life team created fun ways to pass the time. They set up target games on the ceiling and helped Connor set up an anniversary dinner for his parents at the hospital. Today, Connor has fully recovered and is active playing golf and tennis.
Since 1998, Costco employees and members have donated more than $5 million for kids treated at Beaumont Children’s.
Through donations collected during the annual campaign, CMN can fund impactful patient services, like Child Life, that can create better healthcare experiences for pediatric patients and their families at Beaumont Children’s.
