RE/MAX First raises vital funds for preschool speech and language program

COVID-19 has presented challenges for all of us, but the pandemic could not stop RE/MAX First from raising critical funds for the Communication Preschool Program at Beaumont Children’s. The team recently hosted their annual golf outing and raised $31,000!

The Communication Preschool program is part of Beaumont Children’s and is designed primarily for children ages 3 through 5 diagnosed with speech or language impairments. It is funded entirely through annual contributions made by local RE/MAX brokers and agents.

“The annual golf outing is an important tradition at RE/MAX First. It’s our opportunity to give back and make a difference in children’s lives,” said Candice Thompson, real estate agent at RE/MAX First and CMN Ambassador.

Since last year more than $90,000 has been raised for the preschool program through a variety of events including golf outings, Memorial Day parade, Walk for Miracles and agent contributions through the Miracle Home System (RE/MAX agents donate a percentage of their commission from each home they sell).

Congratulations, RE/MAX First on another successful event and thank you for all you do to support patients treated at Beaumont Children’s!
