Local Panda Associate to Receive National Recognition for Employee Giving

Throughout the year CMN corporate partners raise funds for Beaumont Children’s through register and balloon icon campaigns, special events and national giving days. But did you know that many of our partners also participate in Employee Giving programs?

Panda Express associates are devoted to their annual Employee Giving campaign and are passionate about helping kids in the communities they serve. One of these associates is assistant manager Danielle from the Chesterfield, MI location. Danielle is dedicated to fundraising for kids at Beaumont Children’s and her store raised more than $15,000 in 2019 alone. She is inspired not only through her role at Panda Express but also as a mom who experienced medical challenges with her infant son Benjamin in 2018. Tragically, Benjamin passed away at two months old, but Danielle will never forget the extraordinary compassion and care she received.

For this reason, Danielle donates $10 out of every paycheck to CMN and her story will be featured on Panda Express’ national website for their Employee Giving Campaign. “I wouldn’t want to work any place else besides Panda Express” she says. “Not only do I enjoy meeting new people and watching them on their journey with Panda, but I also get to be part of something extraordinary when we raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. What matters is that we are making a difference – a difference in the lives of families.”
