Miracle Balloons Decorate Local Rite Aid Stores
Rite Aid has a close partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For 25 years, stores all across the nation have been fundraising to help kids in their communities. The kickoff of the campaign started March 24, 2019. As days passed, CMN Staff at Beaumont Children’s caught wind of an associate like no other…Dan. Dan’s store fundraising results were impeccable compared to the year prior. Dan had many medical emergencies and experiences himself growing up so he knew the importance of the Children’s Miracle Network campaign that Rite Aid participates in annually. When asked why this campaign was important to him, he responded without hesitation.
“I have seen first hand the outstanding work of Beaumont Children’s. Years ago, a close friend of mine was treated at the facility in Royal Oak. It means a lot to me knowing that these funds stay local. I grew up in Southeast Michigan and I work hard during the campaign to make it an even better place to work and live.”
Dan’s attributes his success in the campaign to asking every customer every time as they are checking out at the register. He recently transferred stores before the start of the campaign. His new store location increased fundraising by over 110%!! He builds relationships, tells his story and, sequentially, helps make miracle happen at Beaumont Children’s Hospital. Dan values working for a company dedicated to giving back locally.
