We are thrilled to announce that our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) corporate partner, Ace Hardware, has made a generous donation to support the Bravery Beads program at Corewell Health Children’s, for the second year in a row. Ace Hardware’s donation is enabling us to expand our reach, ensuring that more children at Corewell Health Children’s hospitals across SE Michigan will benefit.

Bravery Beads are more than just vibrant and fun trinkets; they are badges of honor that help children and their families navigate the emotional and physical challenges of illness and injury. These beads offer a way for kids to keep a personal record of their healthcare journeys, providing a sense of accomplishment, encouragement, and motivation during difficult times. Each bead represents a milestone in a child’s treatment journey, marking every procedure—from blood draws and MRIs to chemotherapy sessions and surgeries—as well as celebrations of birthdays, holidays, or simply good days. Bravery Beads transform healthcare experiences into tangible stories of courage.
