Step Up to Help Kids During Ace Hardware Bucket Days August 2-4 and Change Kids’ Health

Ace Hardware customers like the reward of transformation and the ability to build, create and improve. That is why Ace Hardware, the Helpful Place, makes it easy to create lasting change at CMN member hospitals like Corewell Health Children’s.

This August 2-4, you can step up to help kids by purchasing a Miracle Bucket for $5 at participating Ace Hardware stores in Southeast Michigan. Your donation comes to Corewell Health Children’s, allowing local kids throughout SE Michigan an opportunity to experience more positive outcomes, while also fostering the builders and creators of tomorrow.

In addition, Great Lakes Ace stores are asking customers to donate their small change during a special Round Up campaign they are running in-store, from July 28- August 24.

The purchase of buckets and donations of small change can make a huge difference to patients like Braylen and Rylee, our 2024 Local CMN Ambassadors at Corewell Health Children’s.

Both Braylen and Rylee Watson were diagnosed with severe communication disorders at a young age, but found their voices through speech and language therapy and enrollment at Corewell Health Children‘s communication preschool. This specialized preschool is a hospital- based program that helps children ages three to five develop the cognitive skills, comprehension, verbal expression, motor skills and academic readiness they need to reach their fullest potential.

Together, we see what the future can be and are working to make it a reality. Because when we change kids’ health, we change the future – for all of us.
